Problem Description

Issue

amp update does not function as expected. complete reboot does not help. the steps added to this ticket hold all the details that is available

Reproduction Steps

  • main menu/support and updates
  • select the upgrade this instance button under the 2.7.2 to 2.7.2.2 update section
  • observer amp web server reboot animation for 3ish seconds
  • amp application manager after the “reboot and upgrade” sill shows on 2.7.2 and 2.7.2.2 still available
  • rebooted hardware and repeted steps above a few more times
  • gave up and filled this support ticket

thank you “sudo su -l amp" "ampinstmgr upgradeall” worked for me

That doesn’t update ampinstmgr

getamp update is the preferable approach always
