PLEASE FIX IT AND MANUALLY UPDATE THE ADS FOR ME THANKS IN ADVANCE

Reproduction Steps

  • I went on vacation for two weeks
  • the server was not in use in that time
  • ADS needed an update and so did AMP
  • I got AMP to update but ADS is being stubborn

Nobody can update your server for you except you. AMP is server hosting software, not a server host like Hostinger or other VPS service.

I’ve got the same issue. I’m following the guide, but where do I enter the commands? I’ve been using the Development Log on the main menu, but with no luck.

Assuming your running linux, you don’t do it through the Amp menu. You open a terminal (like konsole) and enter there.

I’m running Windows. I’m only familiar with using Hostinger through the browser, so I don’t have anything downloaded to my personal system.

Ah. I didn’t realize you were running out on a hosting service. Thought you were running it on a local computer.

For Hostinger you will need to ssh in to update. You will have to look at their instructions on how to ssh in.

Once you get logged into the SSH command panel

  • type : “su -l amp”
  • Then type: “ampinstmgr upgradeall”

Thanks! This… feels very complicated for a service I’m paying for. It’s just bizarre that Hostinger doesn’t provide this support for a server they’re hosting.
