Update Failure of AMP - Instance does not start up after upgrade

Problem Description

Issue

I am told I have to upgrade my instance due to this instance being version 2.6.0.12 but the ADS instance being 2.5.1.8. If i upgrade the instance in the support and Updates section, the instance will not start up again (Have waited an entire night). I then have to restart the entire VPS for it to work again. After that it works again, but the update is not done and I can still not manage my instance.

Reproduction Steps

  • Upgrade instance from 2.5.1.8 to 2.6.0.12
  • Trying to reach AMP, panel down
  • Restarting VPS

You’ll want to run through the update guide here, you need to update your ampinstmgr package as well.
