Problem Description: Team Fortress 2 64bit Linux Metamod and Sourcemod don’t work

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 Install AMP on a 64bit Linux OS
  • Step 2 Install Team Fortress 2 64bit
  • Step 3 Set Metamod and Sourcemod to valid versions/builds and set them to enabled
  • Step 4 Test Metamod and Sourcemod commands, they will not work even though both are enabled and valid

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Installed the 32bit version of Team Fortress 2 on the same system with the exact same settings as a new instance and both Metamod and Sourcemod work correctly and respond on the console without issue.

Make sure your instance template config is up to date. See section 4 here: How to update AMP to the latest version

This is a fresh install on a fresh system performed yesterday with the very first instance created being the Team Fortress x64 install followed by a non x64 instance of Team Fortress 2 afterwards, I did try those steps today to make sure everything was up to date before posting as well.

Switch to Metamod 1.12, build 1211. Works for me
