Problem Description

Issue

as per the steps. I cannot log into steamcmd on l4d2 so canot add workshop items to the instance

Reproduction Steps

  • typed in credentials
  • pressed login and it asked for login again
  • repeated previous steps again
  • credentials work on other instances

Hello good evening, I’m having the same problem, I’ve already reinstalled AMP and servers but without success.

I use AlmaLinux 9.5

i can see the server on the Steam group list and play on it but I cant add custom maps.

Template has been updated to prompt for steam login

This will allow download of workshop items via AMP but you will still need to move/symlink the .vpk files manually to left4dead2/addons

Hello. Tried to update again. No change still stuck on steam login popup

Did you actually update your instance first from the main webpage, so that the template config was updated?

I stopped the instance and then pressed update or do i need to delete and reinstall left 4 dead 2?

it seems to be updating now. quite a few of the workshop items keep failing though and I also got a state 3 error. could you advise I put a few details on a discord link.
