Problem Description
Issue
the server keeps overusing ram and therfor if there is more then one player active on the server it keeps crashing after 5 to 30min
Reproduction Steps
- upgraded to the second plan instead of the first
- tried to reduce the avilable ram, it changed nothing
- have tried to let it fix itself but it keeps crashing after 5min to 1h if there is more then one player on the server
Bare in mind that this isn’t support for Hostinger. If you’re running out of memory you may need to contact them.
@CubeCoders-Bot can you take a look at this persons logs and check it really is a memory issue. Perhaps look at xmx/xms (It’s a Java application) in AMPs diagnostics.
Alright, let’s dig into the Java memory settings to see if that’s causing your server crashes.
Check the Java settings in AMP by searching for “Java” in the Configuration → Minecraft → Java and Memory section. Look for xmx
(maximum memory allocation) and xms
(initial memory allocation).
Adjust these settings and monitor if the server’s memory usage improves with multiple players. If you’ve already tinkered with the RAM but the crashes persist, we might need to dive deeper or adjust other settings too!
