Startup Issue with DayZ (Original) - Starting DayZ error

Problem Description

Issue

I get the following error when starting DayZ server. AMP is running on Windows Server 2022. I have a AMP users as the install guide advised. I have tested with other games and they work correctly.

Unable to complete task
This task could not be completed: Starting DayZ (Original)… - - State: 3.

Application stopped unexpectedly with exit code -1073741515

Reproduction Steps

• Install DayZ
• Update, steam Login
• Start

Under DayZ Gameplay Settings, do you have a setting called “Enable Gameplay Settings File”?

Yes I do have that setting. I have used that file in the past for custom weather settings

I’m at a loss then. Normally the issue you are encountering is a deps issue. You might try a reboot if you haven’t done so after installing those deps

Maybe they are installed but 1 or more are not happy. I’ll play around with the deps. Thank you for helping, I really appreciate it.

Have you rebooted the VM since installing the C++ runtimes?
