Question About Patreon License vs Website License

Hello,

I live in Turkey, so unfortunately I don’t have any option other than purchasing through Patreon. I recently got an AMP license this way and noticed that the license provided via Patreon is monthly. However, on your website the lifetime license is being sold for the same price.

This feels a little unfair and confusing. Could you please clarify the difference between the Patreon license and the website license?

Thank you for your time and support.

The Patreon licence is functionally the same as Advanced Edition. Once you’ve had the Patreon subscription for 3 months, you get to keep it forever. So the actual price difference after that 3 months is negligible (but yes it is a little higher when you account for taxes)

The reasons for the restrictions are documented here: Regional Availability - TLDR: if your country is restricted, it’s because your government has excessively costly tax policies for foreign businesses. So we bump it over to Patreon instead, but the price is a little higher because the fees we end up paying are higher.
