I have a question

Problem Description

Issue

I’m curious. When you are in a game instance in AMP, there’s a button with “Support and Updates”, for my minecraft instance it says “Update Available - 2.6.0.2”. Is this an update for AMP?

Reproduction Steps

  • Open the AMP server in your browser, and open a game instance
  • Open a game instance and look in the sidepanel.
  • The last button in the sidepanel says “Support and Updates”, i have 2.6.0.2 ready for install

Yes, an update for that particular instance

See How to update AMP to the latest version

I can see some commands from the link that you provided that i can update a particular instance, or all instances.

Ive tried upgrading the instance through the web interface, but nothing happens… Is this a feature still WIP or is that supposed to work?

I go to instances > Press manage on my minecraft instance > Support and updates > and press upgrade this instance and then press Upgrade now .

I get redirected back to the overview of game instances and nothing happens… Is this the expected behaviour?

EDIT: I stopped the miencraft instance, and then performed the upgrade from the overview page. Now it has the latest version. Thanks a lot.

Updating the ADS used to work in the web UI, tis buggy atm.
Though regardless with this update you need to use the command line to update ampinstmgr
