I selected FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.21 but AMP installs Minecraft 1.21.5 instead of 1.20.1. I tried manual .jar setup, reinstalling, and creating new instances but the issue remains

I selected “FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.21 (v1.12.0)” as the modpack while creating a new AMP instance using the Feed The Beast (New Source) option. However, AMP repeatedly installs Minecraft version 1.21.5, which is incompatible with the modpack — it should be using Minecraft 1.20.1.

I’ve deleted and recreated the instance multiple times, attempted both auto and manual configurations, and even tried uploading the correct files myself. The manifest and server JAR do not seem to match the selected modpack version. This causes the server to throw VM errors or show as incompatible when connecting from the client.

Could you please help correct the install path or provide a fix to ensure the correct version is deployed for Direwolf20 1.21?

Looks like you selected the wrong modpack entry in AMP.

As per your post, you selected “1.21”.

If you want MC 1.20, logically you’d select the “1.20” modpack.

I understand what you are saying. I explained it incorrectly.

No matter what version or FTB Direwolf mod pack the server automatically loads in “Starting minecraft server version 1.21.5”. Ive created multiple new instances.

Ive tried different version and its always ends up loading 1.21.5
