Greetings fellow users. I bought AMP for the first time today because it seemed like the easiest way to make a game server for my friends and it indeed is I got a minecraft server for my friends to play on and its been great! However, there was another game that we wanted to play and its called Zombie Panic! Source I saw that it was on the list of games supported by srcds module. I did try to do some research but I don’t think anyone has tried to run this game yet I couldn’t find any posts about it and I tried to google it and wasn’t finding anything on it either. I was wondering if someone knew what srcds means and if this is something that I have to add to my server along with AMP. I would just like some guidance on where I can look to find the files that I need any advice helps. I run PopOS on the server machine as it is a old gaming rig of mine that I repurposed into the AMP server. Let me know if there is anymore needed information.
Oh I see so srcds is just broken with AMP which is why I can’t find it. That makes sense thank you is it alright if I ask in the comments of that git post for a template if its available?
The srcds module was deprecated, in favour of Source/GoldSrc/Source 2 servers being moved to generic module templates: Supported Applications Compatibility
If you “show deprecated applications” in AMP, you can probably still use it, but you won’t get support, the module won’t get any updates, and it had its issues anyway
Ok I see that now. Sorry for my lack of understanding. I did play around with it and couldn’t get it to run, but its whatever I’ll just play more with it and maybe eventually get it to work. I was looking forward to using it since I saw it was on the list I just didn’t understand the note. Thank you for explaining it to me!
If you put a request on GitHub then it might get some traction (ie I might get around to doing it lol). Any specific info on server configuration for this particular server should be included
Oh heck yeah bro that would be awesome. I’ll go ahead and make one for sure if you guys did get around to doing that it would be really cool. As far as the configuration goes does it need to have a file included, or can I just specify what I want to have in it?

It works! You’re than man! You have made my year and I am so happy that I can host a game server for my friends. This is one of my favorite games from back in the day and you made it possible for me to play it again with friends thats not on a custom server with random custom maps.
