Problem Description:
It seems that by default on Windows AMP chooses a random drive to use for its AMPDatastore and there’s no way to configure it during setup that I’ve found, contrary to this post from a few years ago. The drive on my computer that it’s choosing is a backup drive that gets wiped every night and cannot be used, so it needs to be on a different drive. I found this post about changing where AMP stores instance data, but there’s not currently an InstanceStore registry key, so I’m not sure if it’s even used or what value I would use (AMPDatastore folder vs Instances subfolder). I can configure where new game instances are stored, but not the root AMPDatastore folder that contains the ADS01 instance and instances.json.
