Problem Description:

So a short while ago I migrated AMP to a new machine, following instructions found in the support section so I am guessing this may be related to that work.

The issue I am having, is when I am in an instance(any instance no particular one) in its file manager, if I download a file from the LocalBackups virtual directory, I get an error page. I can download files in other directories just fine. I can download the backup files from the main AMP instance file manager as well in those same directories, its just when in the directory.

Additionally, in the instance I can edit files no problem.

Example file from the full path from the AMP instance file manager which works;
VDSElandrya-Z01/Backups/20260603-014231-14618851aa514e769a2e1e76ea2d4e06.zip

Filepath from the Instance
VDSLocalBackups/20260603-014231-14618851aa514e769a2e1e76ea2d4e06.zip

Downloading the file from the instance I get page cant be found, with this link in the URL
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/fetch/b82e45f7-40c3-4b9f-941f-1117e5cd1842/__VDS__Elandrya-Z01/humanitz/2728330/__VDS__LocalBackups/20260603-014231-14618851aa514e769a2e1e76ea2d4e06.zip

So something is messed up in the instance config somewhere. Whats the best way to fix this?

Thank you!

Steps to reproduce:

  • Go to Instance

  • Go to File Manager

  • Go to Local Backups Virtual Directory

  • Use the kebab menu to download a file

  • new window opens up with error

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I did take a look in the instance amp CONF file, but I didnt see something in there. Rebooted, ensured was on latest version of AMP.
