- i set my server type and version for the mod pack in this case neoforge version 21.1.215
- i dragged and drop the modpack into the root
Minecraft is so crazy, let me help you. So first grab the create server files and unzip and run it on your main pc until it ask you to accept lua, then accept lua it will close restart the server till its fully running.
after it is up shut it down on your pc normally, on the amp you will do the setup for minecraft neoforge and make sure the version matches the version of your java file like you have been, in the file for that minecraft instance so you manage instance green square then file manager inside the instance, you delete everything remove all files from inside the amp file manager.
next on your desktop you have your extracted file housing your server that is fully set up, you go into the folder where it shows all the files you highlight all the files and with all highlited you then click add to arvive and zip it up this is the most important step! its because when unzipping the file structure on the amp has to be exact. you take that fresh zip and drag and drop into the amp.
once its fully uploaded you can click the 3 dots on the right and extract here
remove all the minecraft files that may exist in that instance. nothing else
if you have a world to back up you can download it, replace the world in your create modpack on your pc and go in highlight all the files then rezip it all, reupload that zip and extract
oh yea this works except if you want to update your modpack! you will need to follow my instruction to update and change neoforge version when changing to newest modpack later
Just the same deal to follow the guide again when updating
adding your own mods to the modpack yourself also? is it in there? like using the base modpack and adding 10-12 other mods to it to make it your own?
Thanks for all the info but I’m using a server host called hostinger so I’m fried
