Problem Description

Issue

I cannot join the game even though it appears to be running properly on the server. I have attempted to update everything to the latest version, now i am unable to join either of my game instances.

Reproduction Steps

Does AMP show that the port is listening? Is this home hosted or on a dedicated server?

There’s a known issue with Bedrock Microsoft is working on. You can try toggling LAN Visibility off/on and see if either work. Otherwise you may be waiting a while for their fix.

Mike - Thanks for the response. AMP does show that the port is listening, and everything appears to be working properly on the server side. This is a dedicated server via Hostinger. After spending the last five hours troubleshooting with their tech support, they have confirmed that “the underlying infrastructure and the connection to [my] server is healthy”. This appears to be the limit of support that they can provide, and they effectively told me to pound sand and find some other developer specialist somewhere else. At least i got to learn how to configure firewall settings, right?

IceOfWraith - You are my hero! I had to dig around a bit to find this setting, and I found that it was turned off. Turning it on completely solved the issue. Please accept this virtual beer as a token of my gratitude :beer_mug:
