Cannot start FTB Server, missing minecraft_server.jar

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 24.04.2

Product Name/Version: FTB (New Source) - FTB Skies Expert (v 1.12.0)

Problem Description:

If I try to start the Server i get the following notification:

“The update manager reported a successful update, but ./Minecraft/minecraft_server.jar is missing.”

I cant select a .jar in Server jar part, only [Autoselect].

Im new to selfhosting, if you need further informations please tell me.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Create new Instance
  •          Settings: Application: "Minecraft Java Edition", After Creation: "Do Nothing"
  • Step 2: Change Java and Memory
  •          Settings: Memory Limit: "10240", Java Version: "Temurin 17"
  • Step 3: Changes Server and Startup
  •         Settings: Server Type: "Feed the Beast (New Source)", FTB Modpack: "FTB Skies

  •         Experts (v 1.12.0)"
  • Step 4: Go back to Status and click Update
  • Step 5: Start the Server

Actions taken to resolve so far:

-Stop/Start the Instance
-Updating the Instance
-Changing the JRE
-Download / Update Modpack in Server and Startup tab
