ARK: SE can't launch the server

Product Name/Version: Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS

Problem Description: Hello,

I’d like to set up an ARK Survival Evolved server, but I’m getting the following error at every start: “/bin/bash failed with exit code 1.”

I’ve tried searching the internet and the Cube Codders forum, but I only see partial solutions and I don’t understand what to do at all.

I have another server that works fine, but ARK is impossible.

Search “pre-aquatica” in the instance, select that and update

First of all, thank you for your reply.

I modified something called “Server Branch” under Configuration → Updates → Steam Download. I changed the value to “Pre-Aquatica,” but I’m still having the same problem.

I’m also attaching a picture of the console this time if that helps.

I have the same problem, but at some point it just stopped giving me a error message and even after using the “pre-aqatica branch its still not working.

OS: Linux, Ubuntu Server (updated it yesterday)

AMP is also Up to date

32GB RAM, more than capable CPU, 1TB of storage. should be enough.

I search “pre-aquatica in the AMP menu. found it under-–>Configuration–>Updates–>Steam Downloads—>Server Branch.

I created a new Instance for it. There is no Error message and the download just ende and nothing happend.
