Problem Description: ARK SE can´t Update or Launch even with diffrent Server Branch (pre-Aquatica)
Hello,
I am trying to set up an ARK SE server but it does not even start or update. I tryed to look up what the problem is but I am not able to solve it. There are no Error messages or Pop-up´s that say anything like code xyz.
Steps to reproduce:
-
Step 1 Create Instance–>chose ARK SE
-
Step 2 Configuration–>Updates–>Steam Downloads–>Server Branch–>Pre-Aquatica
Step 3 UpdateActions taken to resolve so far:
-Reinstall Instances
-Went of the Cubecoders Forum and search for the problem I am having.
-Found Articels like “ARK: SE can’t launch the server” tryed it, did not help
- googled it, did not found anything that looked like my problem.
-updated AMP and Ubuntu up to date

At some point there was a red message in the console that said:
WARNING: setlocale(‘en_US.UTF-8’) failed, using locale: ‘C’. International characters may not work.
I looked it up and solved it by using
sudo locale-gen en_US.UTF-8
Since then I had no pop up error message but it still isn´t working.
