Ark Asa

Problem Description:

ARK Asa won’t start server with mods enabled even if list is empty

If you're sharing console output, logs, or commands you have run, please make sure to use code tags
(3x backticks for blocks, 1x backtick for a single line) to help make posts readable. This also
provides syntax highlighting.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 - enable mods (even if list is empty)
  • Step 2 - start server
  • Step 3 - default install

Actions taken to resolve so far: adjusted syntax for -mods=“13542,4356” (as example) also tried with launch options - mod=“” and the mods box turned off (tried manually the old fashion way"

The setting itself tells you not to enable the Use Mods setting if there are no valid mod IDs listed under Mods List:

Don't enable this setting if no mods are specified under Mods List or the server will not start

I didnt start with it empty, i was attempting to see why it didnt start even with a single mod it will not start if checked on. So the problem still exists either way. Ive ran ark on windows and linux for years. Adding -mods= to the launch options also doesnt work or start with the mods switch turn off in the software. Any ideas would be great
