Subject: Server Issue – Blocks, Drops, and World Generation Errors

Problem Description

Issue

I’m having serious issues with my Minecraft server instance, and I need your assistance. Here is a detailed description of the problem and the steps I have already taken:It seems the server instance itself is not handling block updates, drops, or tick processing correctly. Could you please check the instance configuration or provide a fresh, stable setup for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Reproduction Steps

  • Created a new server instance on Hostinger with 8 GB RAM and the recommended CPU.
  • Configured the server to Minecraft version 1.20.1 with Forge.
  • Added all server-side mods required for gameplay.
  • Tested with a player account containing only the server-side mods.
  • Observed the same issues with blocks disappearing, drops failing, and unusual world behavior.
  • Attempted removing all mods and generating a clean vanilla world, but the problem persists.

Please understand that this is the forum for AMP, the software Hostinger uses, and not their support (they have not changed the support URL in the panel). We’ll still try and get you pointed in the right direction, but there may be things we cannot help with.

You may want to create a new MC Java instance and try setting things up from scratch, in case some data was corrupted in testing, causing those odd issues.

There’s a post here that goes over setting up a modded server. Just skip right to section 3 since you aren’t importing a modpack.
