AMP update stuck - endless loading

Hi, i have the same problem like this old post that does not got any reply.

After some months i started my AMP server (VM in proxmox) again and see that there is an update.

My System:

  • virtual machine Debian 12 Bookworm in Proxmox
    # lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) Release: 12 Codename: bookworm
  • Currently running version 2.5.1.8 - 20240917.2
  • An AMP Update is Available: 2.6.1.2 - 20250325.1

So i clicked on the button “Upgrade this Instance” and then waited 15min+ on a loading page with a command:
su -l amp -c “ampinstmgr restart ADS01”

After i used this command i could use the Webfrontend again but see that the instance got not upgraded.

So i clicked again on the button “Upgrade this Instance” and waited another 15m+ on the loading page but this time another command was displayed:
service ampinstmgr restart

So i used this too and could again use the Webfrontend again and now i see that it is still not upgraded anything.

I cannot find any logs in my Debian VM. Where are they?
Journald and syslog does not have any logs of AMP.

Do i have to do something else before i can upgrade?

Thanks for help!

That update button is a bit bugged, follow this update guide:
