Your connection to the AMP backend has been lost
OS Name/Version: Ubuntu Server 24.04.3 LTS
Product Name/Version: AMP 2.6.2.8
Problem Description: Error: Your connection to the AMP backend has been lost. AMP will attempt to reestablish a connection. If you chose to have your password remembered, you will be logged in automatically without interruption.
Steps to reproduce:
- Step 1: Start the server and everything works fine
- Step 2: A day in I get this error but server is still running thinking it would go away.
- Step 3: 2 days in players start complaining of small lag issues and errors when joining server such as “Operation timed out”, however everything seems to be working fine.
Actions taken to resolve so far:
- Executed ‘’’ dmesg -T | egrep -i ‘killed process’ ‘’’ command to confirm it wasn’t a memory problem.
- Haven’t restarted server yet out of fear of loosing anything as I haven’t been able to get a backup because I cannot even FTP the server.
