WHMCS 3 Questions

OS Name/Version: LINUX DEBIAN

Product Name/Version: (WHMCS 8.12.1 , AMP latest Version)

Hey everyone,

1.Are there any templates available for WHMCS that automatically send an email to customers containing their login credentials?

2.Additionally, the connection between WHMCS and AMP occasionally drops. Are there any experience reports on this issue?

3.When creating a product and assigning 2 GB of RAM (e.g., for a Minecraft server), AMP only provisions the server with 1 GB of RAM instead. Could someone take a look at this issue?

  1. The WHMCS guide for AMP includes information on setting up email templates.

  2. Please clarify, there’s no such thing as a ‘connection’ here. WHMCS makes individual requests to AMP.

  3. Setting the container memory size for Minecraft doesn’t also set the maximum java heap size. You have to set that separately as its own setting.

Hey Mike, thanks for your reply. Could we go through the flags together and write them down one by one if I want to install a 2 GB Minecraft server?

I’ll list the command as I would do it. I just can’t get any further. Sorry!

i do only as flag ?

MinecraftModule.Java.MaxHeapSizeMB=2048

This is the command in the templates for, for example, a 2 GB Minecraft server.
After i start to install a minecraft server with this templates i get only a 1gb mc server

I have attached a screenshot of WHMCS for you. What do I need to enter there for a 2 GB Minecraft server?

There is a list of template options here:
https://discourse.cubecoders.com/t/configuring-amp-for-enterprise-or-advanced-usage/1830#p-4135-list-of-all-template-options-9
MinecraftModule.Java.MaxHeapSizeMB would be the one that allows you to set the memory limit yeah.

@ThePotatoKing thx for answer i did it but the webinterface just install the mc with 1GB i send you the screen

after i go to empley

That’s because you did it incorrectly.
The key is MinecraftModule.Java.MaxHeapSizeMB
The value is 2048

thanks ^^ you made my day

One last question. If a customer orders, for example, a 16-slot Counter-Strike server, the template will show the predefined number of slots. Would I need to create a separate template for each possible slot count, e.g., from 8 to 32 slots?

To my understanding yes, since WHMCS treats each item as it’s own “package”.
I haven’t properly used WHMCS before, so there may be some tricks I don’t know of.
A better bet would be to ask in the Enterprise support channel on Discord, so you can see what others have to say on the topic.
