Whitelist add via server properties

How can I add people to the whitelist? Where do I do it, and what steps should I follow? Please provide detailed instructions on how to whitelist users properly god bless you guys

  1. Start the server
  2. Use the whitelist commands of the server
    2.1 whitelist list
    2.2 whitelist add
    2.3 whitelist remove

The whitelisted users are not stored in the server.properties. They are in the whitelist.json or something like that. Thought, don’t forget to enable the whitelist in the settings. Test the whitelist is enabled and don’t just assume it.

same as in minecraft when i try to join/ in serwer prio is enabled whne i try to add in console says:Could not add leonloczek to the whitelist

Let them try to join first before you add them to the whitelist. After that it should be possible. Though, Failed to verify username! sounds like they need to restart their client or logoff and back in again in the client.

Maybe it’s because I don’t have the original version of Minecraft, only TLauncher. Despite trying to add and reset the server, I still can’t join the session because I keep getting the message:

“/46.205.200.148:57285 lost connection: Failed to verify username!”

I also still can’t be added to the whitelist:

“Could not add leonloczek to the whitelist.”
at this point im confused af still trying to get to there, what if i dissable whitelist? does anybody can join regardless of premium and nonpremium?
