Problem Description:
I’ve had Valheim players inform me that as of this morning they cannot connected to my Valheim instance. It appears that my instance is stuck on 2.8.1 (I was stuck on 2.8.0 until I changed the SteamCMD to Update Check by Timestamp instead of Build ID). Attempts to Update the instance don’t seem to be pulling the latest version.
I had assumed it would - but please correct me if I am wrong.
Actions taken to resolve so far:
Attempted to Update the Instance multiple times.
Edit: I just now realized that Update Instance and managing the Instance ‘Stop’ allowed ‘Update’ which sorted it out.
