Using a different subdomains for instances

My question is about minecraft instances but can be applied to anything. I have two minecraft instances on AMP, which both use amp . domain . net url. This forces one of them to run on the 25566 port. I want to ask if its possible to run one of them under a different subdomain (mc . domain . net for example), which would allow to both appear on the default (25565) port, with the mc . domain . net traffic routed to the 25566 port.
I am not familiar with nginx or how to setup TCP+UDP connections through it. I tried looking it up but due to my unfamiliarity with nginx, I couldn’t make heads nor tails, so I want to ask here.

Use SRV records in your DNS configuration. Nothing to do with nginx, which is primarily a web proxy, not for proxying game server traffic
