Don’t grave-dig multi-year-old posts please. Kindly make a new post for your specific issue.

Very helpful response as a “staff” member.

I would hope that you as a staff member would know that Google finds these “old” posts as a top result and people come to these forums for an answer and then usually follow up the result with a similar or related question or answer many years later. This whole don’t necro, don’t revive, don’t grave-dig is just lame, unhelpful, and quite frankly, arrogant and off-putting.

A friendly and helpful community helps push your site and product up any recommendation list.

I only ever look at a post date when the answer doesn’t work out and realize it’s out of date.

Sometimes it’s the 10+ year old post that is the most helpful, and a recent response that says it was helpful, worked or even a tweak the next person adds that resolved the issue is very much appreciated.
