Updating to the latest NeoForge

Product Name/Version: Minecraft

Problem Description: The latest versions of NeoForge are not showing up. I need 21.1.22, (which I do have a jar for) but the launcher only goes up to 21.1.8. The modpack my server runs on is always changing, and I need to update it at least once a week to keep everything up to date. Is there any way I can use the jar that comes with the server files I download with each update?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. checked modpack version
  2. downloaded and replaced relevant files for update
  3. attempted (and failed) to find correct neoforge version in minecraft configuration menu
  4. searched for relevant info on website

Actions taken to resolve so far:
see above + make a post on forum
EDIT: I also deleted the ForgeVersionManifest.xml and restarted the launcher to get a fresh copy. I saw that as one of the solutions on the forums and it did not work. NeoForge is still lagging behind.

Stop/start the instance to refresh the version manifest

Thank you for the solution. I had already closed and reopened the program, so I never tried to stop the instance before.
