Problem description: I updated AMP and now the IP for the webserver and all of my instances has changed to my Internal IP rather than my external IP. I previously had a subdomain pointing to my external IP and everything worked fine. Is there a way to switch back to my external IP? Are there any extra security concerns if I stay with my internal IP?
Basically I would like to change the IP back to my external one that it told me to use when I set up AMP for the first time.
Solved: For anyone with this issue I solved it by redoing nginx reverse proxy, which had broken/turned itself off on AMP. Whether that was from updating AMP or nginx I don’t know.
I tried redoing nginx on AMP, but received an error about the nginx config being wrong. I had to rebind the ADS01 IP again because nginx failing broke that. I then uninstalled and reinstalled nginx. I again ran the nginx set up for AMP. This time it was succesful and I was able to set it to my previous subdomain that used my external IP.
