Problem Description

Issue

When following previouse steps and deleting the server and creating it again, we are getting the same error message “This task could not be completed: Running Update Tasks - - State: 3. /usr/bin/bash’ failed with exit code 1”

Reproduction Steps

  • Head to the VPS dashboard within hPanel.
  • Select the Panel access tab and click the login URL to open Game Panel.
  • Enter your username and password on the login page.
  • Choose Create Instance, then select Valheim from the drop-down menu.
  • Give your Valheim server a name and click Create Instance.
  • Delete Server and create another one with a diferent name

Go back to the main instances screen, right click on the instance, update and select “I have taken a backup”
