Problem Description

Issue

Ive tried looking for a GUI button that updates to the latest version but there isn’t one that I can find besides the button that just updates the instance. I end up having to download my world and delete the instance and make a new one and now whenever I try to update or start the instance I get this This task could not be completed: Running Update Tasks - - State: 3.

Failed to request app info update, not online or not logged in to Steam.

So I’m at a complete loss on what to do.

Reproduction Steps

  • attempt to update to the latest version of terraria
  • fail to do so and end up having to delete the instance as a last resort
  • make a new one and input the old world
  • attempt to start but get some kind of steam login error every time

The update button for the server appears on the instance status page when the server is stopped

Having the same issue. It do be annoying, I don’t think its a CubeCoders/AMP issue considering peeps are having it on what seems to be all steam games, maybe SteamCMD?(worth noting you can just do the standalone version for the update method)
