Problem Description
Issue
Hi, i tryed to update the soulmask servers. but nothing happend. there is an update but the instance will not download it, as there is no update. the servers run on 1.0.10 but there is already version 1.0.11 out.
Reproduction Steps
- click the update button.
- stop and start the instance
- try to update again
Thinking maybe its a corrupted appmanifest, it would prevent an update. I just updated my regular Soulmask Server and Shifting Sands cluster servers today. So either manually go into the instance install folder in file manager, or use file manager in amp itself for the instance.
Trash/delete the appmanifest_228980.acf and appmanifest_3017310.acf in steamapps folder of the Soulmask Instance file manager. Im using Windows Soulmask dedicated servers, so appmanifest number might be different on linux. Delete those, try update again.
Ocasionally on a fresh instance install it will fail when I go to update but succeed if I do it again too.
Hmm, after doing this, the instance is unable to run.
This task could not be completed: Starting Soulmask… - - State: 3.
Application failed to start 2 times consecutively.
