Problem Description
Issue
Zomboid has been recently updated to 41.78.18. On that release, we tried several times to update the server in AMP. Amp says the update is successful, but when attempting to join, it says the server is still running the old version of the game. (41.78.17.)
We decided to just do a fresh start and delete the old instance. We created a new one, left it vanilla, and encountered the same problems. A strange note, on the AMP configuration, it shows completely vanilla, no mods, and the console reflects that. However in-game, attempting to connect to the server it shows the old version and all the old mods running on the server even though on AMP it’s a vanilla instance.
Reproduction Steps
- Updated Old Instance
- Attempted to update old instance
- Deleted old instance
- Created New Instance
