Problem Description
Issue
I cannot play on any minecraft server. Bedrock Server is updated but has no effect. Client get always note that server version is too old, but update has no effect.
Reproduction Steps
- Stop Server
- Update Minecraft on stable relase
- Start Server
- Open Windows Minecraft Version and conect to server.
- Then get error message: Host use old version of minecraft.
Yes everyone is having the same issue on the AMP program with Minecraft Bedrock Server for Linux. It has been brought to the attention of several people in this community and businesses offering AMP Linux hosting for Minecraft Bedrock Servers.
@IceOfWraith can you look into this issue or know someone who can fix this?
This is already fixed in the development release. You can try it early if your license supports it. sudo su -l amp
and ampinstmgr switch (nstancename) development
and change (instancename) to your actual one, should do the trick to let you upgrade again. Windows only needs the second command. Then update inside the instance again.
