Problem Description

Issue

When I want to install the game server data of a default minecraft server I get the error:
Download / Update failed : Couldn’t determine the URL to fetch an update from. You may need to install this server type manually.

I start it on my Windows 11 Pro home computer. Set the DNS of Windows to 8.8.8.8.
Tried to install another game server (palworld) what worked perfectly.

Purchased AMP 2 hours ago, so I’m new to this application.

Reproduction Steps

  • Create instance
  • Select Official server type
  • Click Update

Stop+start the MC instance using the main panel page and try again, then try pressing Download/Update. If that doesn’t work, try installing a different Server Type such as Paper, and be sure to select the MC version you want to run.
