No, still the same error. I have the game on my account, so that’s not the problem either. It worked like 2 days ago. I could launch and update the game, but now it just does that. Even if i create a complete new instance.
Yep, i looooooove SteamCMD. The fact that it can’t even download a dayz mod without timeout, makes it so fun. I deleted the folder, and guess what. Stil didn’t worked… Is it normal that i have nothing in my amp home folder?
Yup. But how do i get dayz working? Do i need to reinstall amp entirely? I could, i only want to save 1 instance. If you told me how to completely uninstall it and then reinstall it. If i have no other options
I tried to, but still didn’t work, i’ll retry and tell you if it works in 5 minutes
Guess what… It worked. When i tried, i deactivated it directly inside the docker container, but yeah, i saw that the ovh ipv6 was horrible. It’s probably better that way. Thank you very much for your help!!
Probably with enough investigation it might be possible to fix it by modifying the netplan config or changing the MTU, unless it is truly an upstream routing issue. Guess it depends on how much effort you want to go to
Just for giggles, I spun up a North American OVH VPS (Canada was the only option available to me, not US). With IPv6 enabled, it worked fine. netplan looked properly configured, and the MTU was 1500. Maybe just a US issue?
You’re lucky, i live close to the datacenter in canada but they are always out of stock, the closest i could get was the one in vinthill. But maybe it is only a us issue, i’ve not tried enough different locations to notice.
Anyway, i don’t want to lose too much time trying to modify the netplan or whatever, as long as it works i don’t really care about the rest.
I really appreciate your help! I couldn’t fin the solution myself so thank you very much!
