Hello! I know I am probably overlooking something super simple, but could I please get a hand if someone has a moment?
I followed Greelans guide as best as I could, but I must have missed something.
I am on windows server 2016. Installed DirectX and both VS Redistributables.
I created the instance. Went to manage and updated prior to starting. It looks like it is all downloaded and created but i can start it. It says Application State: Unable to Run. If i restart the instance, it pops up that:
“This task could not be completed: Starting Ark: Survival Ascended…–State: 3.
Application failed to start 0 time consecutively”
Reproduction Steps
Installed AMP as its own user.
Installed Direct X and Both Visual C++ Redistributables
Added Greelan/AMPTemplates
Created instance based off Ark Survival Ascended Template
Clicked Manager. Followed by Update and waited for completion.
Attempted to start server. 'This task could not be completed: Starting Ark: Survival Ascended…-- State:3.
Updated again. Hit Start again and same issue.
Erased everything and tried again. Same issue. Moved Workspace to a different drive and tried again. Same issue.

From your description, it seems like the server fails to start even after an update. Let’s start by checking the application’s logs for any specific error messages that might point us to the cause of the problem.
You can view the logs using the following steps:
Open the AMP control panel and navigate to the instance you’re having issues with.
Right-click on the instance’s name at the top level and select “View Logs”.
Alternatively, since AMP’s GUI might not be accessible due to the issue, you can view the most recent logs using the command prompt.
Open the command prompt.
Run the command ampinstmgr lastlog ASA (replacing ASA with the actual name of your ARK instance if it’s different).
This should show us the last log which could indicate what is going wrong. Could you please take a look and let me know what the logs are saying?
Here is a copy and paste of the log from the other day, below that is from it now. Its still not working. 5ish days now.
I can create my own .bat file and it works just fine, AMP shows the server is running and created but its not locatable anywhere, even on the same network.
