Problem Description

Issue

Trying to upgrade Valheim instance using the update button does not install the latest update. Client desplays Incompatible version. Running Amp on Windows server 2022.

Reproduction Steps

  • Restarted Amp
  • restarted windows server
  • press update button

I am using the base game.

What does the console show? It should display SteamCMD performing an update?

Upgrading instance MoonsValheimServer01

As a test I created a new instance of Valheim and was able to connect from my PC.

That’s updating AMP, not Valheim. Manage the instance first and update from the status tab.

OK, Found the update and the update happened.

It is working now.
