Problem Description
Issue
Game Panel 4 resources not applied to new AMP instances
Hello Hostinger support,
I recently upgraded my VPS to Game Panel 4, which provides 16 GB RAM and 4 CPU cores. The AMP “Support and Updates” section confirms these specs:
Installed RAM: 16.00 GB
CPU Model: AMD EPYC 9354P – Layout: 1S/4C/1T
However, when creating new Minecraft Java Edition instances in AMP, they remain restricted to old Game Panel 2 limits (e.g., 7.2 GB RAM).
Additional details:
No visible RAM/CPU allocation fields when creating or editing instances.
Container Memory Policy is set to “No Memory Policy”.
Instances are running in Docker but do not reflect the upgraded resource limits.
I kindly request your assistance in ensuring AMP/Docker is properly updated or restarted so my instances can access the full resources available.
Thank you in advance!
Reproduction Steps
- Upgraded VPS plan from Game Panel 2 to Game Panel 4, which includes 16 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores.
- Accessed the AMP panel and created a new Minecraft Java Edition instance using the default provisioning template.
- Observed that the new instance is still limited to 7.20 GB RAM, as shown in the “Memory Usage” panel, despite the system showing 16 GB available.
