Problem Description
Issue
When attempting to create a new Minecraft instance, AMP fails with:
“Unable to complete task - Create instance - Minecraft - State: 3”
Error details:
Create Instance Failed: The core archive failed to download or unpack.
UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘D:\AMPDatastore\Instances...’ is denied.
AMP is running as Administrator.
Folder permissions are set to Full Control.
Tried reinstalling AMP in a clean directory.
Tried different drives and paths.
The issue persists.
Please advise.
Reproduction Steps
- Installed AMP on Windows 11.
- Started AMP as Administrator.
- Attempted to create a new Minecraft instance.
- Instance creation fails with “State: 3” and UnauthorizedAccessException.
