Problem Description

Issue

Can’t update on newest Version of AMP.
ampinstmgr -version #says
[Info/1] AMP Instance Manager v2.5.1.8 built 03/09/2024 11:47
[Info/1] Stream: Mainline / Release - built by CUBECODERS/buildbot on CCL-DEV

Reproduction Steps

  • Klick the “Upgrade this instance” Button in the Webinterface
  • Wait 20 minutes
  • Command “sudo service ampinstmgr restart”
  • In the Webinterface says always upgrade to the new Version

I had problems with updating by GUI, too.
It worked for me this way:

But be sure to have a new Backup of your game instance(s).
Because my “SoulMask” game instance got corrupted somehow and I had to recreate it and restore a backup. Don’t know why this happened.
