OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 22.04.4

Product Name/Version: Release “Callisto” v2.5.1.4, built 01/08/2024 21:49

Problem Description:

I’ve been trying to start an instance for minecraft using docker to take advantage of the resources I have available to the machine, but any docker instances refuse to launch. If an instance is created for minecraft as a non-docker instance it fires up right away with no issues. I am hosted on Oracle Cloud and followed the recommendations here that are specific to oracle. Docker is installed and the OS and all packages are updated. The deployment log appears to be largely empty without any significant information.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Launch new docker instance for minecraft
  • Sits at waiting for application
  • Application not running.

Actions taken to resolve so far:
Re-install everything, new vm, docker, amp, etc… Also rip hair out.

AMP doesn’t have any official docker images for ARM. Hence your issue

Disregard, I’m an idiot.

I’m not running AMP in a docker container, I’m trying to use the in application settings to have the individual instances run inside docker, so that I can use the settings below to give this particular instance more than 1 GB of RAM.

If your issue is that MC server is only starting with 1GB RAM, change the memory setting for Java in the instance
