OS Name/Version: Linux / Platform Debian GNU/Linux 12

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’) AMP v2.6.1.4 built 10/04/2025 12:27

Problem Description:

If you're sharing console output, logs, or commands you have run, please make sure to use code tags
(3x backticks for blocks, 1x backtick for a single line) to help make posts readable. This also
provides syntax highlighting.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Created instance of Terraria
  • Click on Manage button
  • Clicked on Update
  • Then asks me for my Steam Credentials I type them in
  • It looks like it goes through and I get the error “Unable to complete task. This task could not be completed: Updating…- Updating Terraria - State 3. Failed to request AppInfo update, not online or not logged in to Steam”
  • Network Port Status for SFTP Port 2226 is green and Main Game Port 7777 TCP is NOT Listening.
  • Status shows as Idle with a circle with square inside but it is NOT running. When I click on Manage button the status shows as Offline.

My steam credentials worked for Valheim and Palworld without an issue.

Actions taken to resolve so far: Deleted and recreated the instance several times. Checked for updates on AMP and Terraria, restarted AMP a few times and no difference. Stuck on running updates Tasks step 2/3 - SteamCMD Terraria.

They solved it by entering their SteamGuard code.
