Technical specifications about the license

I have a quick question regarding the software Multicraft. They recently changed the terms and conditions of its usage, and I’m wondering if it can handle what I need. I typically run one or two servers at a time for me and my friends, but we often have up to 10 servers in the background, ready to be launched if we decide to play on them. With our old server software, we were able to do this, but we could only have three servers running at once. Now, with the new license, you can only have three servers running in total. I’m trying to find out if I can have multiple servers set up and waiting to be launched, but not running, until we choose to start them.

Please ask any questions you would like so I can

With AMP if a server is stopped for a while, it’ll be removed from the tracked activations.
The built-in delay is there to prevent people from cheesing the system and running more servers than their licence allows.
If you get a server ready, and then shut it down, it can take a week or two to drop off.
So in theory you could have a backlog of stopped servers, but if you switch around too often, it’ll still count towards the licence’s usage.
There’s built-in leeway for migrations and the like, so it’s not the end of the world if you’re accidentally a little over.
In my opinion though, the licences are cheap enough that you could probably run with the Pro tier with that amount of usage, and benefit from the tier’s extra user management features (licences are a one-time payment unless you’re using Enterprise to sell servers).
That said, I’d say start out with the lowest tier licence to try things out, and then upgrade if you like AMP.

But here’s the question can I upgrade the license or do I have to buy a new one every time

You can upgrade the license in the license manager
