Target First Time Setup Error

OS Name/Version: Windows 11 Home/Pro 22H2/23H2

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’) AMP Pro

Problem Description: AMP First Time Setup

Just installed AMP as a Target and Controller. However during the “First Time Setup” as “Target” what do i enter in the “ADS Controller URL”? If i just put the Controllers IP it does give me an error.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 Install Controller setup on PC 1
  • Step 2 Install Target setup on PC 2
  • Step 3

Actions taken to resolve so far:

If you don’t have HTTPS setup on the controller it’s typically http://IPAddress:8080

It expects a full URL as you’d enter it in a browser, not just the IP.
