Struggling with install not working Windows 10

OS Name/Version: Windows 10 Education

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’): AMP Standard Edition Lifetime License - AMP Instance Manager for Windows 10 Desktop

Problem Description: I have no idea what I’m doing and can’t seem to find instructions beyond a short install video. Watched the install video (made sures to not be using an Administrator user) but my steps did not include license activation. created login info, used the command prompt to confirm license, but all that happens is AMP Instance Manager is now installed and it does nothing. When I open it I get a warning stating “AMP already configured” and “Would you like to start AMP and open the web interface?” Upon clicking “Yes” it opens the manager with an instance titled ADS01 listed but not running. Manager services button at the bottom does not work, and the Create Instance button leads to an error page. There is no way to create a new instance or delete the one mentioned. I feel like from browsing the website that there is supposed to be a totally different interface/app to interact with, but there is no indication one was downloaded. Help?

Steps to reproduce:

Download instance manager according to instructions.
Open instance manger.
Error.

Actions taken to resolve so far:
Uninstalled and reinstalled.
Installed on different user.
Browsed the support board for similar posts.
Confirmed it’s not an issue with windows firewall, security settings, router, or ethernet cord.

Go to the local web page on http://localhost:8080 to finish the setup
If it’s not running, run ampinstmgr start ADS01 in CMD

Tried both didn’t work. Website had an error, CMD shows the following:

From their webpage: “Simple installation . … is a simple to use . . . with a focus on ease of use through its intuitive user interface and simple setup process . . . one of AMPs main design goals is to make setting up game servers extremely easy for novice users . . .” man compared to a novice I am plain ignorant.

To be fair, on Windows things just work, until they don’t for some random reason, because Windows.
What happens when you try to start the ADS instance using that Instance Manager Desktop GUI?

After you’ve tried that, what’s the output of ampinstmgr status in CMD?
