Startup Issue with Vintage Story - Vintage Story stuck Update Step 6/8 Start Server

Problem Description

Issue

Unsure of what to do. I created an instance of Vintage Story 1.18.15. Started it and then it gets stuck on Update step 6/8 Start Server. I checked the logs and saw this.

Reproduction Steps

• Select Instance
• Select Vintage Story as an option
• Start Instance

To quote Greelan on the salient bit:

You can work around it in the meantime by stopping your instance, editing GenericModule.kvp in the instance datastore, and adding App.HasSuccessfullyUpdatedAtLeastOnce=True

I’ve used this myself and it seems to work, here’s hoping they get it fixed soon!

Wow! Go figure. Haha I noticed that fix, just didn’t know how to implement it but thank you for explaining how!
