Problem Description
Issue
After performing a graceful shutdown of my Valheim instance and rebooting my Ubuntu host where AMP is installed, I receive a failed message when trying to start my Valheim instance back up. Looking at the logs of my instance, I see the following error message:
An error occurred trying to start process ‘/AMP/Valheim/896660/valheim_server.x86_64’ with working directory ‘/AMP/Valheim/896660’. Permission denied
The account I’m using is a superadmin and I am able to start other existing instances and create new ones without any issues.
Reproduction Steps
- Shutdown Valheim instance
- Rebooted Ubuntu host where AMP is installed
- Attempted to start Valheim instance and received failed message
