Issue

Created new instance for valheim, would not start up, mentioned looking in log for problem. (Hosted on an oracle cloud compute server)

Reproduction Steps

• Created new Valheim Instance
• Attempted to start instance
• Instance failed to start

Try updating your template from the main menu (the update button at the top, not in the valheim instance) and then retry.

Did not work. Experience the same issues:

Application Error
A fault is preventing the application from starting. Manage the instance to examine the logs.

ARM Devices - SteamCMD Not Installing

Valve released a broken SteamCMD update for ARM devices that causes the game server to never install/update. Below is a workaround that will be included in the next AMP release. Attempted to use this fix on a fresh instance of valheim. Folder was named llinux32 for the valheim instance, changed to linuxarm64 & then linuxarm32. Both did not work, pressed the update button, everything seemed to download properly, but the file manager was very empty. Should I attach a new log below? If the new update comes out soon I could wait for that.

It should be linux64 you want. Linux32 won’t work.

Didnt see any linux64 folder only a linux32 folder. Ill try to recreate the instance to see if it generates correctly

Ahh yeah you’re too far in. You’re doing the File Manager inside the instance. You need to start from ADS and go from there.
