Problem Description
Instance running, application is idle. Cannot start or update Valheim isntance.
Issue
Hello so I.m a bit new to this, please be patient with me. I detailed all the steps I did so far as I can remember. The problem is the instance is shown as running, but the application is idle. When I navigate towards the manage page and tried to update or start the server, nothing happens. I sincerely believe the fault is my own, maybe I stopped an instance during an update or something. I will add a copy of my logs subsequently to this post. Any help would be appreciated.
Reproduction Steps
- Saw an available update for AMP and the instance and performed the update. I believe it was 2.5.10. U
- On completion of update, I got instead a page stating that it could not connect to “my ip”:8080
- Did a full uninstall and reinstall. Attempted to make a new Valheim server instance
- Instance was made and was shown as running. The application was shown as idle
